The show is animated very very good, with solid rich colors and clear bold lines. It was great.

Audio:

Subtitle:

The subtitles are very poor, with akward, funny lines and sometimes strangly translated lines. I understood the movie well enough, since this one doesn't rely heavily on mystery dialogue that has to be translated correctly.

Comment:

This movie involves two specials, neither of which are "movies". The first starts Kaitou Kid, the manga Aoyama created before Detective Conan. Kaitou Kid and Shinichi are against each other, where Shinichi (not Conan) tries to help the police apprehend the thief. The second with with Conan and Ran and Mouri, invited with a bunch of other detectives to an isolated mansion, where they are then cut off completly from all the outisde world. They are supposed to solve a mystery, where only one can live, and win. --Menus-- Good god, MI, use a different picture! They're used this picture on THREE of their other DVDs already! Some creativity, people? At least the menu looks kinda nice. Packaging-- Pretty nice, thought he screenshots on the back are crappy quality. All japanese. The specials themself were all very good, and interesting. The second special has very very much less involvement of Kaitou Kid... I like the secon d one much more, however.
