Minor pixalation, but there isn't a great deal of motion, so its not a bother. The "fuzzy" scenes are Hayama's (or anyone else's for that matter) imagination/dream/wish scenes, and not a defect of the disc/encoding.

Comment:
Besides what the reviewer below mentioned (I have tried not to be redundent), there are two things that irk me about this set:
1) Since they chopped off the opener/ender of each episode, there is no "next ep" preview (which I dont watch anyway, but its the principle of the issue...)
2) You cant FWD/Rewind during anything on disc#1, and the "dvd memory" feature on my player doesnt work on D1 either, like something programmed on the disc temporarily turns it off. (2-5 are ok, just D1 has these issues).
