Video:
The video is near perfect. Since this title is so old, it doesn't seem to suffer much from the compression. I had my doubts when I saw that there were only 3 disks for 30+ episodes, but the picture quality is awesome. It has little or no pixilation problems.
Audio:
The japanese track was originally mono, so I can't really complain there.
The audio is exactly like the R1's. There are times when the audio cracks up, but it's bearable.
I did not listen to the dub, so I cannot comment on it.

Comment:
This is my first hkdvd, and I've noticed that almost every single chapter on disk 1 and 2 are cut 0.5-1 second too eairly.
I'm not sure if the is common to hkdvds are not, but this is rather annoying.
At the beginning of every episode, there is a episode preview. At the end of the preview, Sailor Moon usually says "In the name of the moon, I'll punish you". That line is cut off on disk 1 and 3. So it's more like "In the name of the moon, I'll.... *cut*" and the subtitles bleed in to the intro.
The episodes end eairly too, but it's hard to notice since there's a fading effect. It fades half way then... *snip*. The same goes for the intros and endings.
Oh yeah, one more thing. MAC reuses 1 intro and ending for the entire disk. The ending movie was supposed to change after episode 3, but they kept the ending for Sailor Moon R until disk 2. This isn't a big deal really, just something to take note of...
If it weren't for the fact that the cuts were made a little to eairly for disk 1 and 2, this "Perfect Collection" would have been pretty much..... perfect :)
