The video was good except the dvds like to reuse the endings and openings for every ep.. So the credits always says what the first ep on the dvd was.
Audio:
The audio was great !!! I listened to both the english and japanese audio!! I love both!

I thought the video was great. There were a few places in the episodes where it froze. It was only once so it is okay.
Audio:
The audio is great. I listened to both english and Japanese Audio. In the english version the music is sometimes to soft and in the japanese version the music is perfect. im not a fan of the english dubb though. Nearly all the time during episode previews when sailormoon says, "In the name of the moon Ill...." It usually cuts off.

I love this set. I wish it would have extras like transformations. Clean opening, clean ending, character bios...... And on every disc the menu image is just Mars!!! I hate mars.

The video is near perfect. Since this title is so old, it doesn't seem to suffer much from the compression. I had my doubts when I saw that there were only 3 disks for 30+ episodes, but the picture quality is awesome. It has little or no pixilation problems.
Audio:
The japanese track was originally mono, so I can't really complain there. The audio is exactly like the R1's. There are times when the audio cracks up, but it's bearable. I did not listen to the dub, so I cannot comment on it.

This is my first hkdvd, and I've noticed that almost every single chapter on disk 1 and 2 are cut 0.5-1 second too eairly. I'm not sure if the is common to hkdvds are not, but this is rather annoying. At the beginning of every episode, there is a episode preview. At the end of the preview, Sailor Moon usually says "In the name of the moon, I'll punish you". That line is cut off on disk 1 and 3. So it's more like "In the name of the moon, I'll.... *cut*" and the subtitles bleed in to the intro. The episodes end eairly too, but it's hard to notice since there's a fading effect. It fades half way then... *snip*. The same goes for the intros and endings. Oh yeah, one more thing. MAC reuses 1 intro and ending for the entire disk. The ending movie was supposed to change after episode 3, but they kept the ending for Sailor Moon R until disk 2. This isn't a big deal really, just something to take note of... If it weren't for the fact that the cuts were made a little to eairly for disk 1 and 2, this "Perfect Collection" would have been pretty much..... perfect :)

This is a R1 rip so the quality is very good!It can't be better since there isn't yet a japan dvd release for this season.
Audio:
It sounds ok to me!I listen only to the japanese track...don't want to listen to the english one...I'm scared! ^_^;;;

I'm very happy with this box!The box itself is gorgeous!the art is from original japanese laserdiscs and from american dvds.This box is nearly perfect! the only thing is that the menus are the same for all 3 discs and are very simple ( but ...hey there is sailor mars in them so she is my favourite...! ^_^) with no extras at all but that's not a big problem. I think this is the best way to see this series!I loved this one and I hope they produce in the same ways the fourth season too ^________^ Chapter breaks are -episode preview -opening song -episode -ending song
