I never saw any problems with the video despite the weird episode distribution. Overall very good video quality though.
Audio:
I didn?t notice any problems with the English audio no annoying voices or anything of that sort. I can't really comment on the Japanese audio since I didn?t use it but that's been reviewed.

Defiantly an interesting anime once the character of Betterman gets involved but if you?re looking to see cool mechs I can't personally suggest it. Overall it?s a really good series though that surpassed my expectations. Overall MAC did a great job on this release. If you like darker series with a little comedy than I suggest this series.

This set is definitely from an R1 source. Slight artifacting is noticeable only during completely black scenes, like at the very end of the ending credits. Most episodes are in the dark and the picture quality was not at all distracting.
Audio:
English and Japanese audio tracks. Listened mainly to the English dub which was well done w/o any horribly annoying voices. Japanese audio was as loud and contained very nice voice-acting.

The series really grows on you. When I first saw the slightly cheesy opening credits (video of a shallow underwater, non-impressive coral reef) and simple, almost crude character animation style I almost passed on the show. It turned out to be a great purchase and I thought the show was pretty creepy. The packaging looks nice and the menus have a very haunting tune. This is a rare anime that captures the freaky vibe of a well done horror movie. Watch it late at night with all the lights off!

R1 ripped, no pixealation that i could see. Seemed a little "Bright" although that seems to be a issue with the r1 also, from what i read. It's presented in Widescreen , but it's not Anamorphic (just like the R1 that also aren't also anamorph. )
Audio:
no problems...contains both Jap and Eng Audio

This is probably one of the best rip jobs done by HK standards. The level of detail is beautiful and the animation is fluid. Disc 1 and 2 have 5 episodes each and disc 3 and 4 have 8 episodes on them. This probably helped out the video alot.
Audio:
Perfect R1 rips both English and Japanese tracks included.

The package was great the inside was phenomenal. Now to the story...... this story probably could have been told in a 13 episode OAV series, nothing really fantastic happened and by the end of the series you feel like you need more then what they gave you. The animation is some of the best I have seen in a long time, however. Is it worth 28 bucks? Hell yeah!!!
