Video:
R1 ripped. Looks great. Even during action scenes, no pixelation that I could see.
Audio:
2 Tracks--Japanese Dolby Digital 2 Channel and English D.D. 5.1. I listened to both and they both sounded good.

Comment:
No extras included, in fact, this is pretty much a no-frills release. Menus and packaging are simple, but get the job done nicely. My only real gripe is with the lack of chapter breaks, but I'm sure I'll get over it. Overall, this is a good set for the money.
I was pleasantly surprised by Jubei-chan, which, unlike many short series, gets better and better with each episode and has a very nice conclusion. Never too serious for too long, but the humor is never grating or stupid. There are some nice dramatic scenes in here, too. And EVERYTHING with Jubei's father is just pure gold! Light-hearted, and ultimately, very sweet.
Note for those who keep track of such things: Series direction was done by Akitaroh Daichi (Fruits Basket, Animation Runner Kuromi-chan, Now and Then, Here and There, Kodomo no Omocha, etc.).
