All in all, Macross Zero is shaping up to be an extremely enjoyable series. Highly recommend for long time Macross fans or mecha maniacs.

Finally, the second vol to the 5 vol Macross Zero series is out, and I'm a little disappointed. I'm not sure if it just wasn't my weekend for HK subs, or what, but the subs on here were pretty confusing at times. They weren't always filled with engrish, and most of the names were right, but for some reason, I just had a hard time understanding what was going on. The video quality was great, but for some reason there seemed to be white bars flashing by on fast motion sequences. The sound was great, but the dialog at times was too low. I still have to recommend this, especially for Macross fans, but I really hope the rest comes out quickly before I lose interest.
