Based on a super-hero television show back in 1972, similiar to \"Ultra-Man\" or \"Mask Rider\", Baromu-1 is brought back to live into animation with script composition and screenplay by Taguchi Narimitsu from \"Ultra-Man\" series. The story takes place in A.D 20xx in a city along the seashore in the Kanto district. Near the city there is a shooting-star lake which was created by a fallen meteorite tens of thousands years ago. A life form which was sleeping for thousand years inside the meteorite on the bottom of the lake now begins to hatch and begins to attack people. Meanwhile, an accident happened with Kido Nanori and his classmates, Kentaro Shiratori, while they were playing with computer. An image, KOPU, appeared before them and explained to them that they should join their true hearts and true courages together to save the world from the hand of GOMON. However, because of the intense electromagnetic wave from the computer, Kido and Kentaro were pushed out from the house and fell into the cliff and sink into the ocean. Then a sphere of light shines from the bottom of the ocean with the image of KOPU, who then gives small bracelets called BOPPU for Shiratori Kentaro and Kido Nanori which allow them to united with the power of justice and friendship to save the world.
