Video:
The best of the best of the best. At a 9-9-8 episode distribution, this release is looking as sweet as the sweetest FX releases. The quality is perfecto, as far as a 26-episode, 3DVD HK goes. With the amount of special effects, quick movements, and all around mayhem on the screen... you'd -expect- pixelation... however, there is none. I didn't see any major flaws what-so-ever.
Kudos to the transfer team that threw this release together.
Audio:
Again... outstanding. Highest marks due to:
1) Perfect audio transfer.
2) One of the best English VA casts ever assembled on the small, animated screen. The voices all fit the characters perfectly, and this is a good thing seeing as you have to be the world's fastest reader to keep up with the dialogue of this show via subtitles.

Comment:
Wow... this is one messed up puppy. Some of the zaniest, most enjoyable characters I've ever experienced, ever. If you enjoy messed up anime along the lines of FLCL, Abenobashi, and South Park... well.. South Park isn't anime, but I needed a gross-out humor reference... then you should like Excel Saga. Episodes are parody-theme-based in the same manner as Abenobashi, and there are also many running jokes which get funnier every time.
As a quick side-note, the final "bonus" episode, 26, had me in tears it was so over-the-top funny. It takes the limits of poor tastes, and blows them to bloody, pukey, sexy shreds.
Sooooooooooo good.
