Video:
I have nothing against the quality of the video with this set. It is very crisp and beautiful. I might warn some of you though, that the video is fed from the American episodes of Dragon Ball Z, not the Japanese. So episode 195 is already in the "Tournament Saga", and not just after Cell like in the Jap. If you absolutely loved the American version...then this is for you. I didn't take any points off for it being from the American show, because later in the series, Funimation pulled up their socks and did a better job.
Audio:
Audio is pretty good. On my compy...which is sadly where I watch all my DVDs due to being a university student...the audio froze up a bit.. as well as the video... it wasn't too much, and it was probably my crappy computer anyway... but I had to take a star from somewhere... But the audio was in sync and pretty much no problems as far as the Jap goes. I hate the English dub...so I'll take .5 off for Funimation being stupid.

Comment:
If you don't mind the episodes being ripped from Funimation, then go ahead and buy these. They're really great to watch, and are probably have better subtitles than most of the other sets of Import Dragon Ball DVDs out there. When you're following the episodes, look and a USA episode guide. (all episode titles are from US DBZ) The menu was nothing spectacular... each chapter is essentially a video...so get aquanted with your "next chapter" buttons...hopefully you don't wear them down.
These DVDs are a really great find, and you won't regret buying them.
