Video:
Looked great in my Apex DVD player and DVD-ROM drive. However, my GE DVD player was very tempermental when I tried to watch it, but it eventually played.
This is a Pioneer rip. The menu is in a neat interface, with the intro music playing in the background with footage from the series. This series is a rip of the MI release, as the logo floats in for a few seconds once in a great while.
About 3 hours on the first 2 DVDs, and the remainder of the series on the last DVD.
There is only 1 opening and ending per DVD. When Pioneer released this title, they left only 1 opening and ending per DVD of their release. The transition from episode to episode is a little jarring.
Audio:
I watched this title with Japanese audio and subtitles on. However, there IS an English dub present for your enjoyment, (I double checked!). The audio sounded great in stereo to me, you could hear all the voices and effects clearly. There was a few places on the first disc where the audio did not seem to match the characters speaking (lip synch). After the first DVD, it seemed to disappear.

Comment:
I watched this before the OVA series, and I feel it is better to watch it that way, as the OVA contains spoilers.
Packaging:
Nice cover with female protagonist on the front. There were bishoujo (pretty female) characters plastered all over the DVDs. Screenshots are on the back.
Fan Service:
Pretty fair amount, this is an anime with futuristic sports events, so you get to see the characters in various outfits.
Content:
This title left a bad taste in my mouth. About 1/3 to 1/4 of the way in, I kind of lost enjoyment of watching the series. This was just a personal observation, something just didn't feel right to me about this title. I felt I should be enjoying it with all the bishoujos around, but I didn't for some unknown reason. I am not much of a sports anime fan, so that may be it (or it could be something else...).
In conclusion, all I can say is I watched it. My advice is to read a synopsis of the show and make up your own mind.
