Overall:
Video:
video was sharp and perfect! The reason I gave it a bit lower is the third DVD, very noticable pixelation from time to time.
Audio:
clear, perfect!
Subtitle:
Disc 1 and Disc 2 the subs were just greatno mispelling, no errors just Perfect! Exept of course from the Third DVD, the subs were all screwed up when it came to names and all. Every name that was said was subtitled so strangly that was simply not understandable, you had to make your own deductions indeed when it came to that part of the DVD, many errors as well, and some subs are missing and some are a few seconds late sometimes too

Overall this is a great series the first 16 episodes are just great keep you interest on it all the time with new stuff and character coming in but unfortunaly ( in my opinion ) when it came to episode 17 to 25 it totally lost my interest, nothing more was really going on it was just basically talk most of the time. Also if it wasn't for that 3rd disc and the screwed up subs in it maybe I would of enjoyed it a lot more because it really irritated me a lot and usually I don't mind some bad subbings, even those from hk copies of yugioh and hoshin didn't bother me as much as in this 3rd disc, at least I could make them out but I got lost whenever names were sub in that specific disc. And the ending talk about not getting it ! lol. Either it's a screwed up ending or I jsut diodn't get it at all. You'd kinda expect a showdown between the hunters and the Blade Children but nothing of that, just talk talk talk. This kinda ruins the set, but I'd advice to watch this series still if at least for the first 16 episodes it's really worth it. Maybe the MAC version is better than this one too. As for the story, basically you got the blade children that a re cursed and keep making obstacles for the main character which is very intellegent always a step ahead and the deductions he makes are simply amazing I must say, so through the story he'll have some help and get to know the whole situation better and adjust with some obstacles on the way. Hope this helps you in anyway!!

Video:
First two discs seem okay, the third disc's quality drops a bit. But overall it appeared okay on my tv. Pretty sure this is a tv rip. (First Episode has a type of News/weather bar to the left and bottom of the screen, but only that episode).
Audio:
I did not notice any problems with the audio, could just be my tv.
Subtitle:
The First two discs are pretty good, all of the names are correct, dialogue seems to make sense, don't recall too many timing errors or quick ones. Easy to read and see etc.. However the Third Disc must have been done by something different. All of the names change to a point where they are no longer japanese, but they atleast stay consistant throughout the disc. The font becomes a little bolder, but doesn't look as nice with the video quality. Some timnig errors, and poor translation requiring a bit of deduction of your own to figure out what's going on.

Overall the series was interesting....but I was dissappointed by the ending, which led me back to questioning the rest of the series. Also there are only 26 episodes...disc: 8,8,9.
