Video:
A Perfect R1 rip as far as I can tell, I am usually picky about video quality but there was really nothing to stop this set from getting a 5.
Audio:
I watched it entirely in Japanese Dub which was your average 2ch stuff but it was perfect as well, no hissing or distortions. I listened to a few lines in English Dub and it sounds a bit louder than its Japanese counterpart.

Comment:
Exactly the same extras on all 3 discs (WTF?!) which is simply textless opening and ending. Those aren't really my cup of tea so I would've been more excited if an Art Gallery or something similiar was included.
There are 4 chapter breaks within 1 episode, Opening, Epsiode Itself, Ending, Next Episode Preview. Personally it would've been even better if they added one in the middle of the episode, but this is already better than most of the stuff you see floating around.
The gatefold is non generic and is up to par with what you'd expect from either MI or FX (albeit a tiny bit smaller).
The content is simply breathtaking, I watched 20 episodes in a row without stopping (toilet breaks in between only) which says a lot since I only remember that Maison Ikkoku made me do that in past history. Without giving too much of the plot away I'll just say this show has some influences from Starship Troopers but it's a zillion times better.
I don't know what the official rating is for this anime but it'd get at least a R16 in my book since it contains a fair amount of violence and sex. Neither were used explicitly but rather as to convey the story in a more persuasive tone but some will still find it offensive nonetheless. The group that made this obviously didn't stop at anything if it helps to get the point across all in a more convincing manner.
If you like action, romance and depth then do yourself a favor and pick this up, be warned though this anime is definately not suitable the younger audiences out there (15 years and younger).
