This series is CRAZY! Like the guy above says you feel like your watching the Power Rangers! Its SO Japanese its unbelievable! They get these 'muta-stones' and mutate (morph) into better fighters then onto a giant robot.... This was one of the first hk dvds ive bought and I was by no means dissapointed as ive been looking for this series for ages! Its nowhere near as good as the Tiny Snow Fairy Sugar set I got around about the same time though.....

This looks like it was taped from broadcast TV. There are some faint ghosts that you can see in my screen shots.
Audio:
The sound is decent. Nothing amazing though.

This show is seriously weird. Take the traditional TMNT and mix in a good dose of Voltron or Power Rangers or some other classic Japanese team show and you end up with TMNT the Anime. The turtles get these power stones you see... and they can use them to "power up" for three minutes... but it gets better. In times of great need, they can power up again for 100 seconds in to the "Saint Turtle" where they meld into one giant warrior with a big sword. Of course what fun would it be if the bad guys didn't have the "anti-power" stones and get cool power ups to... check out the screen shots... I can't say anything more. If you enjoy kitsch, then you have to have this series. On the other hand, my wife rolled her eyes and walked out of the room.
