Seems to be ripped from a japanese DVD (main menu is in japanese too).

Audio:

Good.

Subtitle:

Almost perfect. The title of the second story is not subbed and within this story, there is a little part without subs but don't be afraid, you guess what is said (the character is yelling something and maybe it was not subbed in the original DVD as well).

Comment:

I liked watching this anime, it is strange and made by famous directors so if you like change, try this !

This was ripped from the R2 i believe. Pretty much perfect...anamoprh Widescreen

Audio:

I listened to the japanese Track no problems (2 ch stereo, not 5.1 ...please remenber that this is a 1986 movie so that't expected) . As far as the previeous reviewer comments about the English track i can't say for sure , because i only checked randomly out of curiosity .

Subtitle:

These Subs were almost certanly ripped from the r2 since they don't seem fansubs / Hk originals. Pretty much as good as a r1 release (there was just one time when the subs was too large and a letter was slighty cut off screen). They use a yellow font. I didn't noticed missing lines.

Comment:

Contains no extras, just the movie. This has got only 50 minutes and it contains 3 short stories.

Perfect, looks like a direct R2 rip and as it's only 50 mins, no change in compression.

Audio:

Okay, the Jap track is a fine 2 Ch, but the english 2 Ch track has lot of problems. The audio is very low and pops at times. It's also very to the right channel. On the first story and almost sounds as if its mono. I gave up and went to the Jap track. It's a shame as the Eng dub was pretty good. But, if you ignore the English track, it would be a 5/5.

Subtitle:

Very good, but a few missing lines were noted on the last story. Close to perfect.

Comment:

It's like memories, but a lot shorter. The second story about the racing driver going over the edge is easily the best and scared the sh*t out of me at the end. Unfortunately, none of the stories have a proper ending, so it's all about thought provication. I was a bit disappointed how the last one ended as it seem to be taking off when it finished. Oh well, still quite artsy. Get this if you liked Memories. If you don't have Memories, get this first as it's a stronger title. But it's worth getting this for the second one alone to show your friends with the light low and watch them quiver in their seats Lol..

Good. Definitely not VHS ripped.

No Problem found.

Subtitle:

English here.

Comment:

It's a artsy titles with 3 stories that give the impression of watching Twillight Zone without a plot. The artist of 2 stories in this title also feature in "Memories". Among "Labyrith laberythos", "Running man" and "An order to cease construction", the I like the 3rd one best.
