As far as I could tell, the video the perfect. There weren't any artifacts or glitches that I can remember, but I might be wrong. Another thing is that they used the full 10mbps bit rate for the video, which made for exceptional quality. In any case, I loved it. Good stuff here. 5/5

Unfortunately the audio is a different story though. Basically what happens is that many times, there's mouth movements and subs, but you can't hear any speech or you can barely hear it. Also as the movie progresses, the audio becomes really noisy and just plain sounds bad. I don't know what the exact wording is. I could still listen to it and enjoy the movie, but many people just couldn't stand it. I can see why of course. I don't have a surround sound system, but from talking with other people, the problem with the talking is attributed to a very low volume on the center channel. So low that even adjusting the surround doesn't help much. On a side note, the MI version is the same way from what I've heard from other people.

Man I love this movie. It's been one of my favorite anime movies for quite a long time now. I'm planning on buying the commercial release that just came out a little while ago for those who don't know about it. Um... I guess I'll have to recommend that you buy the commercial release just for the audio, cause there is some amazing stuff in this movie. Anyway, thanks for reading.
