All film, though compressed on only 4 dvds still are of great quality. Though some films the piture size has een namde slightly smaller. Overall this is excellent. Though there are glitches once in a while, which seems to vary for each set. Sometimes the film will skip to a random part of the film. As the qulity of animation is high, it is sometimes blurry when it comes to making out the detailed backroun d animation. still, this does not make too much difference.

Until Disney gets off their butts and releases more of Miyazaki's work in North America, this is the best way to enjoy them. I agree with most of the other comments here about the quality of this release. One thing I'm surprised that no one has mentioned is the labeling of the boxes. Each box has three pictures on the front of different videos included in this set. Unfortunately, these pictures don't correspond with what is actually on that particular disc. I made little inserts for the boxes for my records. I can't recommend this set enough. Nowhere else do I know of a collection of animation and story telling that even come close to being on par with this.

This is a great set. Recommended for all Ghibili Fans. The video and audio were okay. Subs had bad timing in some episodes. Kiki's Delivery Service, I believe, was cut short towards the end. Otherwise it was all good.

Audio and Video are all good but problems with the subs on 2 titles, and "only yesterday" has too fast subs. But for getting 12 well made movies you should not complain. A great set in my opinion!

This is a great set. The audio, video, subs and sub timing were great on all the movies except for Pom Poko and La Puta. Those two had timing problems with the subs. Recommend this to anybody. I mean how can you go wrong with 11 Miyazaki movies?!?

The video is laser disc quality and looks really good, the sound is normal dvd quality, and the subs are excellent except for Pon Poko which has subtitles that are behind by 5 or 6 seconds. This is a great set that is Highly Recommended!!!!
