Video:
Looked great in my Apex DVD player and DVD-ROM drive.
This is a rip. The menu is straight-forward, and their are a few bonuses in the form of comics/outtakes/trailers from the series on the second DVD.
Audio:
I watched this title with Japanese audio and subtitles on. However, there is an English dub present for your enjoyment. The audio sounded great in stereo to me, you could hear all the voices and effects (in the form of explosions, cat meows, etc.) clearly.

Comment:
Minor Complaint:
The recaps are edited out. I don't know if this happened in the R1s or not, but the music is pretty cool in the recaps I have on a VHS fansub, and one of the best lines of the series combined with recap music was awesome! I really wish they had not cut that out. They did leave a mini-commercial in there though, I have no idea why they left that in and took the recaps out...
Packaging:
Decent cover with bishoujos (pretty female) plastered all over. They look like they jumped out of the manga. A description in English along with another manga like picture is on the back. The inside of the set was very pretty with manga like covers on both of the DVDs.
Fan Service:
It was there, but not heavily. It has it's moments, especially with some of the voice actors intonations, when people land on their posterior, etc.
Content:
I found this to be a very enjoyable title. Yuji Moriyama's (Nuku Nuku dude) name is prominently in the credits. It is a comical title, and things blow up, etc. I feel like I was thrust in the middle of it a little bit, I really think it wetted my appetite to need to buy the manga to better understand it. I thought it was pretty good entertainment.
Extras:
Comics/outtakes/trailers.
This series is worth the money for a good storyline, and I liked the opening and closing songs. (Although the closing songs are a little weird...) I found it to be entertaining. It is somewhere in the middle of the anime I have watched. If you want something similar to Nuku Nuku (minus Hayashibara), this title should deliver if you enjoy the synopsis and the background of the story. I am going to have to get the manga though, the anime got me that interested in the storyline!
