Pretty darn good - I would say perfect, but I need to leave perfect for another day.....

Audio:

I recall nothing bad, this whole series went by on my 5.1 Dolby Digital just fine.

Subtitle:

By far an outstanding subtitling triumph! It was not completely perfect, but what was messed-up was pointless to complain about. I noticed a couple times during the intro credits that the subs to the song lyrics were flubbed on randomly.

Comment:

You cannot go wrong here. This series is definitely money well spent.

Just gorgeous! Had to be R2 ripped.

Audio:

No problems that I noticed.

Subtitle:

Great! Fansub script, only a handfull of typos/skipped words. Occasional timing issues, but they never last longer than a line or two. There were two instances (that I noticed) where a line would start in the middle of the screen and get chopped off halfway. Weird, but not that significant in the long run.

Comment:

Nice extras! (textless OP/ED, cast and crew interviews). Previous reviewer pretty much nailed the description of the subs here. They're understandable, but a bit awkward. As for the series itself, I really enjoyed it. Though it was obviously created with a young audience in mind, this is one of those rare shows that both adults and children can watch without either having their intelligence insulted. A very well done, genuinely good-hearted series. I will definitely be re-watching this one in the future.

Perfect. 4:3 letterbox format. The MI logo is there, but it shows up only one or two times per disc. No encoded email addresses.

Audio:

Very good. With the stereo enhancement on my TV, I had the impression that there were slight volume changes. When I turned the enhancement off, I didn't notice it anymore.

Subtitle:

Excellent. Taken from fansubs ("not for sale or rent"). There are some typos, missing spaces etc., but not very often.

Comment:

Openings/endings/previews are all intact and subbed. There are also extras: creditless opening/ending, comments from the production team and comments from the voice actors. These are also subbed, but this subs seem to be HK originals, since they're not as good as the normal subs. Nevertheless: Thumbs up! A very nice series. Of course it's ultra cute, with character design resembling Digi Charat or Pita Ten. Animation is very nice, especially the background artwork of Mühlenburg town. So if you like a healthy dose of sugar once in a while, I can highly recommend this nearly perfect HK set.
