Great R1 rips, I owned the original until this set came out so, its perfect.

Comment:
A decent follow up to Go Nagai's awesome series, I use to watch the originals when I was younger so watching some of my heroes back in action kicked ass. A great set to buy even if you are not familiar with the original anime, but if you are a mech junkie this will satisfy your hunger.

This is the most intense mecha I have seen - great stuff. Darn confusing at first, so you may have to watch disc 1 again, but awesomely fast moving mecha action.

As long as you watch this in English audio or can understand Japanese, I don't see any problems with this set. A region 1 rip and a good buy considering that all 13 episodes is crammed into only 3 discs versus the Region 1's 4 discs.
