Video:
The video on this release is very solid and looks to be DVD quality on the whole with no noticable glitches. Needed more chapter dividers like in the second set though.
Audio:
The audio for The Prince of Tennis is similarly solid with no audio synch issues or odd directional issues. It is crisp, clear, and loud.

Comment:
The Prince of Tennis is my first real sports anime, and I've found it similar to most fighting anime in that the characters each have their own special moves and typically don't reveal them until they're through screwing around with their opponent, except in this case, instead of fighting moves, it's tennis moves..:) However, unlike most fighting anime, The Prince of Tennis has some pretty good character development and humor (Inui's evolving penalty juice is a running gag throughout the series and is hilarious) as well as sporting some pretty good animation and production values in general. It does have a lot of recapping throughout the episodes which gets annoying but overall I recommend the series first set wholeheartedly.
