Keep in mind this is an older series so I did'nt expect to see much improvements made to it...but I didn't expect to see it look worse either. I had seen the first two or three R1 DVD's while I was at A-Kon last year and they looked really good compared to this set. The video looks like someone turned the contrast up and the brightness down on your tv set...there is also some pixelations when there is alot of movement but nothing huge.

This is a cute series with alot of relationship/love triangle humor but twords the end it gets more into the drama and fighting realm. Also, the menues are in chinese so it will take you a few tries to get it right but other than that it's a good enough buy...you get two DVD's with 15 eps. total for like $14 so I reccomend it.

The subtitles for the most part are good. There are times when it might fall behind by a line or so... but it's not that bad that you would get lost. The video and audio is ok... i think. The show is old so the video itself seem old but i guess it can't get any better. Cam't complain with the sound too. It's a ok buy.
