The original Macross movie. This movie is pretty much the Macross series in about 2 hours. What is put together in these 2 hours is a milestone of Japanese Anime. Beautiful animation mixed with a wonderful story and music makes the awesome tv series seem almost bland by comparison. It holds its own against Akira, Ghost In the Shell, Metropolis, etc. <br />
