Overall:
Video:
Fine...the series is twenty years old, so the video isn't crystal clear but it's perfectly acceptable.
Audio:
Dolby 2.1, clear and pretty good for an aging release.
Subtitle:
Surprisingly good. There are some annoying errors - "Green Gable" for Green Gables, and the translator has some problems with verb tenses and agreements - but apart from that they're pretty good. All the names are correct, some of the phrasing is excellent (Anne is often "in the depths of despair" and her dialogue is captured pretty accurately.) I was expecting Engrish, but these are far superior.
Comment:
A nice set, well presented (although the DVD holder tabs break as soon as you take the disc out for the first time) and with serviceable subs.
