Better quality

Not bad, some muffling.

Bad. When names start changing you can get very annoyed and the grammer -_- *shakes fist*

Comment:

I got annoyed watching this set.. very dissapointed when the subs started off so good in the first set.

Well... if you've seen the earlier sets, you've seen them all. Some of the episodes look a tad better, or a tad less, but overall it's fairly consistent in it's 'quality'. The quality on itsself is respectable for a TV rip. Still, it's a TV -> VHS -> DVD rip. It has some color blotching, and it's a bit blurry. Also some minor pixelation in heavy scenes.

Audio:

Audio wasn't great, but not really bad. There were some moments/episodes where ther was a little cracking, and overall it sounded a bit muffled. But you'll be able to live with it.

Subtitle:

They seem fansubs, but I get the feeling that the fansubs they're taken from aren't the best to begin with. You'll occasionally find weird sentences, and some typo's too. Sometimes there are name changes. Probably because they're taken from diffrent fansubs sources. Edit: The last episode of this set (90) isn't taken from fansubs, but has HK original subs. Since it's a fairly straight-forward filler episode it's still understandable. Most of the names (except Inuyasha) are wrong though. Overall very understandable.

Comment:

- 18 episodes (75-90) - Contains ALL OP/EDs (though the OPs are a cut/paste-job, endings are originals). - There are no email adresses in the video or subs, and only a FEW times the MI logo shows up (I believe only once or twice per DVD). The series is really starting to drag now. There are only a few episodes on this set that handle with the main story (Naraku, etc.). It's a nice series to watch, but I liked it more in the beginning... Safe buy if you want the show.

The first 6 or 7 eps have very good video for a TV rip, but after that it becomes worse than the previous Inuyasha sets from MI

Audio:

Very bothering audio problem in eps 9. There is a loud crack that comes and goes for about 5 minutes. Edit: Just watched it again and the problem wasn't there anymore!? Lol maybe my DVD player needed a break at that time. So no problem here.

Subtitle:

Good for the first few episodes but after that only average engrish. Like in set 4 there are tons of typos and in this set they even spell some names wrong.

Comment:

If you buy this to see how the story goes on...DON'T GET IT. There are only 2 or 3 eps where the plot moves on, the rest are filler eps. On the second disc there is also the TV extra which AV released separately. The subs for this TV extra and the eps summaries (at the beginning of each eps) are way below average.

Like the others, it's a TV rip, Decent but nothing special. I did seem to notice some slight TV reception problems that I didn't notice on the previous sets, very minor. If you've seen the other Sets, the video is basically identical.

Audio:

No problems here. Always came in crisp and clear, never any unnecesary static or noise. But it's still stereo so it still gets a 4.

Subtitle:

Besides a few slight mistimings, and some usual typos The subs are very good on the whole, always understanable EXCEPT for the last two episodes and the special. During those, the subs take a drastic turn for the worse, with tons of grammer errors, name changes, typos and garble. Luckily those episodes are really just filler and you can still basically know what's going on. And the special is just pointless, theres no need to even watch it. Sub rating would have been considerably higher if not for the last 2 eps and special.

Comment:

Other notes- Same menus no extras Theme songs are cut off at the end. Fans of the previous sets won't be dissapointed as your basically getting the same thing.

Tv rips but there better then the other ones (well most of the episodes) they come in more clearer they are doing a better job transforing the SVHS copys....

Audio:

very good no complaints

Subtitle:

These are deff better then all the other 4 parts. The first 3-4 episodes are digi subs no miss spells and no grammer errors but 5 and so on there are some minor errors but no where near as much as the first 4 its so great!

Comment:

Extra stuff: -no new dvd menus -no previews to the next episode -sometimes they cut some of the closing and opening of the song and some episodes they cut out that intermission thing. -TV special included. Highly RECOMENDED!1
