Comment:
This series I really liked at first, but when I got on the last disc it didn't get my interest anymore, I didn't even get the ending too well. But note there's not much action in it but therE's a good plot and a few twists here and there.

Perfect DVD rip for the first half of the series, really bad TV rip for the second. If you've seen titles like the late One Piece volumes (10-13) or the last Aiyoriaoshi, you know what it looks like. Constant vertical shadows and bad phantom pictures, with every outline casting a shadow somewhere else on the screen. The average rating would be (5+2)/2=3.5 but I deduct one additional star as a penalty for changing from DVD rip to TV rip.
Audio:
Nothing to complain about on the DVD ripped part, but really noticeable backround noise on the TV ripped episodes.

When I bought this set (a long time ago), only the review for disc 1 was out. If I had known, how bad the video would be, I wouldn't have bought it. I think this was one of the first sets where AV started their bad habit of ending a series with TV rips. On the other hand, the subs are really great. The thing I definetely can recommend is the series itself: Mystical mechas, a hero full of doubts, and even a little bit of romance. I really liked the character design. OK, it's not the NEW "Evangelion", but it's interesting and entertaining.

The first disc is wonderfull, allmost full dvd quality, but the second and third discs do take a slight hit to quality. There is no artifacts that i could see just a little grainy, seemed like VHS quality. Still perfectly acceptable and highly watchable. Dont let it deter you, im probably just judging harshly. Overall very good.
Audio:
No problems anywhere really, very clear all the way throughout.

Interesting show with some beautifull animation, Highly recomended for fans of Eva, just dont be overly criticle of any similarities. Character development is handled well while being mixed in with action. All round good set, recommended!
