Motosuwa Hideki, an 18 year old boy who grew up at a farm in Hokkaido, decided to go to Tokyo to study for next year's college entrance exam. Near the apartment he was living in, he found an persocom(humanoid computer companion) on top of a pile of trash bags. Personcom are widely used for various reasons. The one Hideki found however, seems to be of an unknown origin and possess powerful cpu and protection systems. But she has no software stored besides the self-learning program. Hideki gave her a name, Chi, and starts to teach her how to speak and getting to know daily life. The accidental meeting between Chi and Hideki begun a long and interesting romance and comedy. <br />
