Overall:
Video:
When I bought this set the R2's haven't been fully released so it should be a TV rip. AV really did a great job with this. The video is close to their Hikaru no Go TV-rip.
Audio:
Nice, no problems. Very cool OST with either fast or dramatic songs.
Subtitle:
Well...they are most of the time good and above average. Once again the names bothered me a lot. It's a pitty because they got most of the names right but they often use the wrong name for some characters (for example someone calls Yuya and they insert Sakura's name). However, you can follow the story without problem. The subs are just what you would expect from AV, understandable but lots of typos and some grammar problems.
Comment:
PLEASE note that this review is for AV's complete Boxset!!! This show is deffinitely a must buy. Of course it can not compete with Kenshin's Kyoto saga but this isn't necessary because it has it's own strenghts. Outstanding character design, very good OST, nice animation, breathtaking fights (if you like a mixture of swords and sorcery) and probably the coolest voice actor (Onime-no-Kyo, this guy could talk only **** and would still sound cool).
