WOW! The graphics on this piece was excellent! The video quality was amazing with beautifully drawn characters and the colors just seem to pop out of my screen. The colors are very vivid and sharp with cool character designs and the scenery of this anime is just captivating.

I personally liked this series, even though the subs weren't that terrific. The storyline is actually quite intrigueing even though the first chapter didn't make much sense. However, as the story progresses, it gets even more interesting and slowly grabs a hold of you and you wonder, "what's going to happen next?" Excellent anime, a definite must see.

Fantastic video. It had a very high budget and shows pretty nice. pleasure to watch, but a little too heavy on computer graphics quite a few times. Actually... most the time.

Packaging: Well, see that picture on the front cover? Get used to it, because that's the only picture used in the set. The back has enlarged images of Tokio and Juna from the front cover, The inside uses the exact pictures, 1 per disc. The background of the inside is just light blue maple leaves. It's clear that MI uses Photoshop now, since that maple leave happens to be identical to Photoshop's brush that creates the identical effect it uses. What wierd is that on the inside of the cover, their email is repeated over and over and over on the back. So everything is covered by their email, except for the pictures of Juna and Tokio. The packaging is mediocre, and has no screenshots or anything. Pretty dissapointing. Menus: These were GREAT. Each uses a different music piece, and each has a well put together video sequence playing with some nice effects and text placing. MI really did this one good, but their menus always turn out great. Hands down better then the R1. ------- The series was really something different. Some people HATE HATE it, but I found it interesting enough to finish the series. I've only seen the first R1, and thought it was ok but not good enough to shell out $30 a disc for 3 more discs. I was rather pleased to get this, and some parts of the show are really stupid and lame, and some parts are really fast paced and interesting. Overall, I'd say you should see it, but it's not on my favorites list. It was done by the director/creator of Escaflowne (right after he was let out of the nuthouse), but the series' are worlds apart. I'd give it a chance though.... it's only 2 DVDs.

Its an ecological anime with a great and original way of storytelling , also it posseses great rhythm in the episodes.

I liked it. OK, this is different from your usual light-hearted romantic comedy or action packed fighting series. It may have a magical girl and a mecha in it, but these are only means to get the message home. This anime adresses several ecological, economical and social issues. It's a little bit like magical girl meets greenpeace. So it's up to your taste. I didn't find it boring. Also the animation is very good, if you can live with the use of CG (a little too much for my taste). Almost movie standard. Recommended!

Video 5/5 Really nice R2 rip but the widescreen flag is set incorrectly so u'll get a black bar on top and bottom even if u're using widescreen TV. Other than that I haven't noticed any problems granted I haven't finished going all the episodes yet. Sound 5/5 2.1 and 5.1 available, nice :) Subs 4.5/5 I viewed half of episode 2 with English subs and they seemed pretty spot on, the grammar seemed fine and the naming sounded correct as well. Contents: Well u'll either love this or hate it, simple. It's a magic girl show (I didn't know that when I bought it) but with protecting environment as the main theme. Think of Captain Planet and u'll get a pretty good idea. The animation itself is pretty nice but the over-use of digital animation can be annoying sometimes. I only recommend this to ppl who enjoy magical girl shows and doesn't mind heavy reference to environment principal. To me it was like lecture slides with pretty animation :(

Totaly agree with bellraisa. Concerning quality the set is great but the content...? Not that it was bad, but to me it was like an advertisement of Green Peace. Don't do this, we are all so bad... Also there are episodes were I nearly felt asleep. Maybe it's just not my type of anime?

Studio: Manga International (warning, the gatefold is strewn with MI's email addy) Eps: 1-13 Video: 5/5 Clean and sharp. Lots of obvious digital animation, but no problems with blurring. Audio: 5/5 Wow! Dolby 2.0 and 5.1! This was unexpected. Subs: 4/5 A mixed bag. I saw digisubs of this series first, and I recognize a lot of the same lines, but there appear to be HK originals thrown in. A major problem is how every little noise, like "hm" or "eh?" is subtitled as "Oops?" which just makes certain moments seem really goofy. Lines are blended together (i.e. two characters talking but subbed in one line). Slight mistiming problems, nothing major. Typos here and there. But given the many terms used in the series, it's not too shabby. Names are correct. Chaptering: Prologue, Part A, Part B, Ending, Preview. Arjuna has no true opening, but that's where Part A starts. Bonus: none (unless you count Dolby 5.1 as one) Menus: Animated with BGM playing in the background. *Very* nice. Content: All of the show is here, no complaints. Impression: Near-perfect release of a very original, surreal magical girl show. I recommend it.
