Video:

This DVD had a running time of about an hour. This DVD contains no mosaics. This is a rip. However, the video appeared a little "washed out," I am unsure if it was poor animation, transfer, or something else.

Audio:

I watched this title with Japanese audio and subtitles on. However, there is an English dub present for your enjoyment. The audio sounded great in stereo to me, you could hear all the cries for help clearly.

Subtitle:

Great English subs because it is a rip. There was about 2 missing lines in the first half of the DVD, and about 2 missing lines on the second half of the DVD, however, these lines were not very important and the DVD can be understood perfectly without them. There were a few small things I heard in Japanese that did not seem to match the subtitles 100%. (Very minor, nothing major) Text was also translated with subtitles, no overlays on title of episodes screen. One missing thing was subtitles on preview, I do not know if the source had these subtitles or not.

Comment:

Kind of interesting the title is Desert Island Story X, I would think it would be called "Deserted Island Story X" Packaging: The cover was interesting with two character tied up together. Back cover has some pictures and description. Bonus Materials: There were 2 extra gallaries under "Special Features" with pictures from the series and some other promotional artwork. Action scenes: There was a moderate amount of action and room enough for a story. There ARE scenes with RAPE. You also have some piercings going on, but I don't think it was too graphic. There are quite a few times they do a close up on the victims face when things happen to them. Character designs were OK, I liked the big eyes. In conclusion, this title was OK to me. If you like rape with regular men (not demons), go for it.
