Video:
It's the final part of MI's Hokuto No Ken release, so let's get down to business. Video is excatly the same as it has been in the preceeding parts to this one. Everything is crisp, clear and defined with hardly any macroblocking or any other visual issues. This is made all the more astounding when you consider that the show was originally animated in 1983 and then broadcast in 1984. Massive credit must really go to the guys who remastered the show in the first place for the original R2 release. Because without them, it's very likely that this would have been a rip from VHS or something terrible like that. An excellent quality of video is what you'll find here, nothing less.
Audio:
Nothing has changed. This is still the same old mono track that you've listened to in previous parts. It's still nice and audible without any hissing or anything like that. It remains one of the best mono tracks that i've heard, plain and simple.

Comment:
First and foremost, MI need a pat on the back for having the balls to bring the entire 152 episode saga of Hokuto No Ken into the living room of anime fans, who in all likelyhood due to legal issues would have no other way of seeing it in it's entirety.
Sure the subs are flawed in this set and you've got that lovely mono sound, but for all it's technical misgivings (video excepted, of course), this is still an unmissable purchase for anybody reven remotely interested in fighting anime. All in all, this set along with the previous two come quite recommended.
