Video:
VIDEO: The video quality does seem to be not as good as in the asgard set. I'm not sure why that is though, I think both sets have exactly the same amount of episodes, but the quality is not as good. Granted again, you must remember this series is from 1980 so what can you honestly expect? Also, there are no DVDs available for this series either. Knowing all that though, I think the video quality is pretty darn good. I just wish that they had a consistant source for the whole series, but that's hard to do with 114 episodes.

Audio:
AUDIO: It actually sounded quite good. I don't have the best system in the world, just my TV, but I can hear when things are too low or there are cracks and pops. You heard none of that here, so I would give the audio a 5/5 since heh, there is no way in hell even a R1 would have 5.1.

Comment:
I guess I'm somewhat sad after having experienced the glory of the asgard set. Oh well, can't win them all can you?

SUBTITLES: This is why I am kind of saddend by this release. The asgard saga had basically PERFECT subtitles. I don't have a freaking clue how the hell they did it, but they did. Totally amazing. So I expected that with this saga too... but I was mistaken. Granted, for an origional HKSUBBED set, the subs are damn good, but they can't hold their weight agains the subs from the asgard saga. I guess you could say they are a step up from the TV series Ep1-74 set, so they're actually pretty decent.
OVERALL: This is another set to buy obviously if you have bought the others. Granted, the entire series will hit your wallet at themoment for about $130, it's really a good series that you can have some buds over to watch. I find it somewhat funnny though that this series has been translated, in all honest, into over 30 languages, except english. I dunno, you would just figure that they woulda done that, but I suppose it's due to all the violence and blood, but who knows.
