Comment:
I first heard about this show a few months ago. I heard good things about the OVA, but never anything good about the TV series. I'm afraid that I don't have much to add to that either.
Summary
----------------------
Inaho is the student president of a Catholic girl's school. Secretly, she's a woman who is out for her own personal gain. When the vampire Mosquiton appears on her school grounds and starts chomping down on her school mates, she stakes him and revives him. Making a blood pact which makes him her slave. The series is very episodic and has a little 'adventure of the day' trend through a lot of it. They search for the O-parts relic which will bring Inaho wealth.
Video - 4/5
----------------------
I don't have much in the way of equipment right now, but I played this disc inside a PSII and it worked fine for me. The picture was really clear, pretty close to DVD quality. I didn't really notice any graininess, but the animation in this show is far from top par. I'm afraid I wasn't paying a huge amount of attention.
Audio - 4/5
----------------------
It sounded fine coming out of the speakers on my television. It wasn't quiet, and it sounded very clear. I don't have the set up to test this, however.
Subtitles - 4/5
----------------------
For the most part, the subs are really good. Not too many grammar mistakes. Some off timing here and there, but certainly enough to get the meaning of things. The names are, as they always seem to be, a bit messed up. Mos-chan instead of Mo-chan. Yuki and Honoo get translated to snow and flame. Sometimes it seems as though they're just trying to make the names up. A little confusing, but not enough to really matter.
Content
----------------------
I'm the kind of person who will watch anything. I find almost everything entertaining, and very little can annoy me. Inaho comes very close. I hear she's better in the OVA, and I want to see it, but she's one of the most annoying characters I've ever seen in the TV series.
I find Mosquiton and his two minions quite charming, but I'm afraid that's one of the only things that I find really charming about this series.
Don't get me wrong. It's not actually BAD, but it's more for those who are already big Mosquiton fans. There are some very amusing moments, and a vampire working as a history teacher is just funny somehow.
