Overall:
Video:
The video was very clear and crisp. I don't remember seeing an pixilation or other gobbledygook.
Audio:
Audio was great. Voices were clear and recognizable. Typical 80's "gundam-mecha" sound effects (beam sabers, lasers, that sort of thing). Music was very good as well. Both opening themes get stuck in your head, and certain music at certain times really added to the mood of some scenes.
Subtitle:
For the most part, the subs were very good. Once or twice, name might be mispelled, or timing would be off, but, in the case of timing, whenever it was off, which was rare, a few lines of the characters speech were added at once, to get the timing back on track. For a HK sub, very well done.
Comment:
An excellent series all around. It's got something for everyone. Romance. Action. Mystery. Battles. A worthy successor to Tomino's masterpeice of the same year, Zeta Gundam. Defiantely worth buying, especially if you're bogged down by all the look-alike anime coming out these days.
