Overall:
Video:
I didn't really notice anything wrong with it but in heavy action scenes the picture would kinda become all blocky..Considering the show's age I think MAC did a pretty decent job on the transfer..Its not as clear as say Love Hina (MAC), or Turn a Gundam (AS) but its definitely better than Flame of Recca or say Berserk's video quality...Also, the show is in color since it is the 1980s version of the show not the early 60s show.
Audio:
I have a basic tv and everything sounded pretty clean cut to me..
Subtitle:
Wow dunno where they got the script from..My only thing that bothered me is that they changed the names of certain characters but you really can figure out whom is whom..I understand Japanese a lil..I'm not an expert expert but everything was accurate and other than the few name changes there isn't really much to cry about here..
Comment:
Anyone could watch this show..It's a monster of the week show with some slight plot twists here and there..A few Kleenex moments but its cool and I liked it...Can't wait till the new series starts airing =) later on this year I think..Overall, you can't go wrong with this set and if you're a sucker for monster of the week shows than go right ahead and pick this up.
