Comment:
The quality of this title was actually quite a surprise to me. I was pretty sure it was a rip of the US release, but with pretty much every other rip I have from Anime Studio they have managed to stuff something up. Not this time.
The video was perfect, I couldn't spot a single case of pixelation, even during the high action scenes. I can't remember the last Anime Studio set I've bought which didn't suffer from at least some minor pixelation. I'm impressed to say the least.
Much like the video, the audio was also perfect. There are no annoying background hums, which occur is so many other Anime Studio rips. The audio also didn't seem muffled at all (unlike rotten old Tenchi Muyo), its was crisp and clear. Also included is an english dub, I watched a minute of two of this and it seemed fine, but thats all i'll be watching so I can't say for sure.
Just like everything else, the subs were also perfect. None of the lines were missing or mistimed. Brilliant to put it simply.
And finally, EXTRAS!. The storyboards for some scenes are included, you can see them down the left hand side of the screen while the scene plays in a smaller box on the right hand side. Its not exactly a great extra, but its still nice to have it.
Well thats about it really. Perfect.
