MAC's You are Under Arrest Movie seems to be a direct R2 rip with no significant HK-studio logos shown at all, neither in the Japanese menu nor during playback. -- Picture ratio is anamorphic widescreen for best resolution on 16:9 displays and full 4:3 compatibility. It delivers a slightly too bright but nethertheless very good video quality without any pixelation.

-- Sound seems great to me in this release. Since it's a rip from the R2 regular edition (not the DTS special ed.) you have the choice between Japanese 5.1ch Dolby Digital and a Japanese 2.0ch stereo downmix.

-- The DVD packaging might be of no technical interest, but well...: It's a sturdy clear amaray case holding the disc tightly in its place. Some very nice artwork is presented on the inside. Front and back resemble the original R2 cover, except for a misspelled "You're Under arest" line added to the Japanese title plus some disc specs by MAC. No extra booklet or postcards included.

Sometimes,when there r 2 or more people talking,u can see "extra" subtitles hanging on top. Luckily,it only happens 3 - 4 times. The video look a bit greyish in my tv,i hope this is just my tv. However, this is a worthy anime movie to add to my collection. (i really like the story & the cast)

Hm, what to say... On the technical side: Video/Audio/Subs = 4/5/5 Video seems a bit blurry, audio is normal sounding 2-channel japanese and subs are from fansubs (all names are correct and so on) The content: If you are a real fan of our fav policewomen then you surely will watch this, but the OVA and the TV-Series are much better I think. The movie is more serious and with more action. But ok, it's worth the money.
