Video:
The video quality is pretty good. The amount of episodes squeezed on two disks (27 episodes) is probably what has caused the mild problems with the set. Pixilization is only noticeable when there is black colorization in sceens, or when Slash, Maho's helper android is on screen. Disk one is near perfect otherwise. Disk two has more noticeable pixilization on episodes 3-5 but is otherwise no worse then disk one.
Audio:
This is the best part of the set, audio is crisp and clean, the set does not suffer from the to loud to quiet points that some sets do.

Comment:
This is a nice little light hearted series. Thought the animation is not quite to the same level that Chobbits is, Mahoromatic is not as perverted as Chobbits, it does have its moments. The story for the better part is semi non epidodal and most of the episodes could be watch by themselves. There is a real story and sub plots in this series but they only really show up at the begaining and end of the two seasons included in this set. I don't have anything bad to say about this series, it seems like a series worth renting first to see if you want to buy.
