Near perfect in my book. I noticed pixelation maybe 2-3 times throughout all 26 episodes! Don't buy into the hype that the video isnt good.
Audio:
Awesome Japanese track. and also great dub too. Sounds nice on a surround sound system too

When I bought it, the 3rd dvd holder was loose...it doesnt seem to want to hold on to the dvd. The 1st disc doesnt want to play in a DVD-ROM drive or a Playstation 2 (with or without the upgraded dvd drivers), it goes to the menu...stalls....and it just goes blank...

This set is great a must buy for any Cowboy Bebop fan who wants all the episodes but dosent wanna pay all that $$$ for the R1. On an intresting note alot of peopel have being saying this is an FX rip i beg to differ as the set i have as soon as you pop it in to the dvd player the AV logo comes up so im pretty sure that this is a rip of the AV version unless mines is the only one anyway just thought id point that out. :)

The video is flawless when watched on my t.v. through s-video, no pixelation what so ever. However I took it to my brothers house and when watched through his composite connection pixelation occured during space scenes.
Audio:
No problems here, awesome music and sound fx.

I love this set. I recieved it as a gift and didnt even realise it wasn't an official release until I found this website. The case does have one small identifying mark. An email address at the bottom on the back. [email protected]

The video was good, no distortion, or scratchiness, etc...basically I felt like i was watching a DVD i bought from Best Buy or somewhere, it doesn't get any better than that!
Audio:
I don't have a super sorround system or anything, but the audio sounded pretty powerfull on my tv.

Great video except on a few episodes mainly in 1-2 gun fights. The hyperdrive space looks messed up and there was a ship where spike's partner's (can't remember his name) partner's ship.

Excellent video throughout, except for the pixellation which occurs during fast-motion scenes like hyperspace and gunfights. Nothing to worry about unless you're extremely picky.
Audio:
Japanese track sounded perfect, and I didn't watch the whole series again to check the English track, although I did check periodically throughout, and everything seemed fine.

- The SKU on the spine says V3TJ159. There is no indication of it being a MAC set anywhere on the package, but the discs themselves have the Mac logo. Is this an AC-MAC set? The packaging itself is a gatefold with artwork everywhere in a clear plastic sleeve. The tabs for the first and third discs do not hold well at all, and every time I open my gatefold the discs would be resting on the second disc. - Menu comes in the animated-with-background-music flavour. Menu items are: Play, Scene Selection, Languages, Subtitles, Extras. - All openings, closings, previews and commercial breaks intact. - Chaptering is as follows: opening -> title -> first part -> second part -> ending -> preview. - No watermark, e-mail, or website address anywhere to be found. - There are 9, 9 and 8 episodes in discs 1, 2 and 3 respectively. - Extras are not subbed! Watashiwa nihongo wakarimasen! Too bad (-_-) - After finishing an episode, the show returns to the Scene Selection menu instead of continuing onto the next episode. Content: I find the series to be... artistic, especially with all the jazz. It didn't draw me in as much as I thought it would, what with all the rave reviews and stuff. There are a few very interesting episodes, however, and the finale is truly excellent. The closing song Blue at the end of the last episode is a good song by itself, but when listened after the shocking surprise ending, it became all the more haunting and heart-wrenching. Conclusion: Watch this series to see what all the rave is about, and you can't go wrong with this set.

Note about gatefold: The new gatefold is a combination of the MI and FX ones. Looks like FX on the inside (including the cover from the US), but on the outer side, looks like the MI. And comes in a plastic sleeve. Odd, but that's what AS sent me, so I guess that's what the decided was best. Oh, and it doesn't hold the DVDs too well... they seem to come lose very easily.

The Image is Really Great , but i could find some very small pixellation during some scenes with a lot of movemment. But you will hardly notice it at all.
Audio:
No problems whatsoever. The Audio tracks are in English and Japanese 2 ch.

It's a Rip from the FX set so it's a DVD R1 Rip. The Menus are in English. Extras : Lots of Trailers , Music Videos, Character Intos ,Interviews with the Staff. Unfortunatelly not everything is subtitled ... Package : It comes in a Generic Mac Package with a Cover of Cowboy Bebop's Photos. Overall : I Really like. It's a Great Set. Buy it , or the FX Set since it's a Rip from it.
