In the not so distant future, manned mecha known as Labors have become commonplace, greatly increasing mans productivity. With this increased productivity came something else--Labor crimes. A special division of the Tokyo Mobile Police Force, Special Vehicles Division 2, has been specifically formed to combat this new phenomenon. "Patlabor 1 Mobile Police" is a science-fiction police drama set against a tale of danger and high tech revenge. <br />
