Video:
Less episodes per disc means less pixelation. There's still a bit though, but overall, very nice video. This show has a wonderful, bright colored look to it and this set shows that off nicly.
Audio:
Sound was great on my crappy system. No complaints there.

Comment:
The first stage of Luffy's adventure is over as he's assembled his dream crew. Now it's time for him to (FINALLY) explore the Grand Line. The first arc on this set is kind of disapointing-the Millenium Dragon arc isn't bad, and Apis is a great charecter, but the charecters are literally on the very edge of the Grand Line throughout it and you just want the arc to end so they can finally get there. Plus, the villains in this storyline are boring (though, um, unique to look at) and the whole thing is filler that did not happen in the manga. It's good, but can't hold up to the rest of the series. Once that storyline is over (it's about five episodes long) though, the plot really kicks into gear with Luffy and friends on the Grand Line. The majority of this set, therefor, is just as good if not better than the stories before it. One Piece is just a fun, fun show and this set continues that tradition as well as ups the drama a bit towards the end. Great stuff, just make sure you've seen the eariler episodes first.
