Reviews for Princess Mononoke

Video:

The art of Princess mononoke were pretty good... the background was set different from the characters but somehow it made it all the more real. Every little detail was thoguht out in this movie to how the persons clothes look after they get cut. They dont just go back to look new they're still dirty and cut up and since the background was set different it was very detailed unlike some of the anime ive seen!

Audio:

There were some parts of the audio were it all the sudden gets really quite but the movie is suppose to get real quite at those points so i didnt think much of it. Also The voices stood out and were clear over the music even though at points you had to guess wat the person was saying because they talked in such weird ways at times!

Subtitle:

The subtitles were decent not any mistakes that i could detect but as usual i only left it on for bout 30 min then switch to japenese which always looks weird to me! ^_^ i'll get the hang of japenese some day.

R1 rip. Appears to be anamorphic. Several people have said it's not, however, like my Chobits (AV) I *watched* the damn thing in perfect widescreen, so it IS. No switching on the fly for it, nor is there a selection in the menu, but it IS possible. I have a monitor that is made for widescreen, and it automaticly plays in widescreen on my comp.
