Good, especially for HK dvds. More 1-frame glitches, but not bad enough to give video a 4.

Audio:

Same as the first set.

Subtitle:

Good, timing's a little bit worse, a few more incorrect translations, but not bad enough for a 3.5.

Comment:

This set drug on a bit more. They go into that romantic shojo bubble- world a lot! Some of the characters are beginning to become annoying. This set seems like more filler--lots of flashbacks, long pauses. Still not a terrible story, but it's starting to drag.

Video:

Very good video. Some rare dropouts. And of course the video doesn't look that flashy as in current releases, but that's due to the original source.

Audio:

Nothing to complain about on my simple stereo TV speakers.

Subtitle:

Very good subs. There are some minor grammatical faults and I noticed one or two things not getting translated correctly or left out. But if I could notice these things, this means that you will probably have no problem too.

Comment:

New rivals in love enter and leave the pastel coloured stage. Some funny moments, but basically this is plain soap-opera stuff. If you like this kind of anime, I recommend this set. Consistent quality through the whole set (including part 1) and only some few minor faults.

The video & audio was great quality, the subs were also good all the names were correctly spelled. The font of the subs were not the best...and a few timing mistakes...but nothing that wasn't corrected right away. I really liked the pictures that they used for the packaging because they were closer to the manga style. The storyline of Marmalade boy includes every type of relationship possible and the character development of every character in the show makes each character come to life. The music in Marmalde Boy is excellent and catchy. This is one of my favorite shows. All three box sets are great!
