Mine came in a box w/ a spindle where each disc is stacked on top of each other,, not a tri-fold The cover is also different than the one pictured here.

I don't know if I got the same set as everyone else. I might have an earlier, not-as-good set. But it is the Anime Studio 3 disc TV series so............ Video = 8/10 Gets kinda blurry. Not as good as it should be Audio = 6/10 Sounds kinda funny, like they're talking in a tube.... They'res some echoing....... can get VERY annoying Subs = 8/10 On point for the most part. but towards the last eps, the timing gets off sink by about 5 secs ahead of the audio. A few mispellings too. If you're totally impatient & don't wanna by the R1s, then I'd say it's worth the $, but the R1s are AWESOME!!! 4 eps./disc w/ extras!!! PERFECT quality & it's not censored as I feared it would be, Thank GOD!

I agree with the previous reviews, this is such a funny serie and is definitely a must-have anime if you're into KOR, DNA(1st 8 episodes). Highly recommended and excellent value. Video: 5/5 Audio: 4.5/5 Sub: 4.5 / 5

The video, for the most part, is pretty good. However, whenever there's some type of action or fast movements, there's the pixellation problem. And yes it goes on for the rest of the set. First I tried to ignore it but after awhile it got really annoying.

The music in the menu was incredibly loud. I thought it was gonna be like that for the rest of the set. Nah, once you go in the episode the volume gets lower down. It's not really a problem for me just had to turn it up and down, up and down.

I like the anime but not very happy with the set. It's very funny and reminds me a lot of Ranma1/2. But other than being funny there isn't a lot to this anime. Sometime I actually think it was kinda stupid. However, you really have to get this series because it is just hilarious.

Love Hina - Final Selection Warning: Do NOT buy the 'Love Hina Final Selection', it contains 2 disks, both of which are not worth owning. -Disk 1: Basically cliff-notes to the TV series. VERY boring to anyone who has actually watched the series. *No new material* -Disk 2: This is just real-life (non-anime) footage of the LH voice actors talking/singing. This disk is NOT subbed and rates a fat ZERO on the fun scale. Unless you are a die-hard fan of LH, do not bother with the LH Final Selection. [check my full review of the LH Final Selection for an in-depth look at the set] --- In conclusion, you MUST buy this series! I don't care if you are so poor that you can't afford to eat anything but cup-o-noodles. BUY this series or your life will never be complete! Also, if you like the LH TV series, download the manga! I have never been a fan of manga, but this series is the exception. The manga and TV series go mostly hand-in-hand with some differences that make both worth watching/reading. However, even though the LH OVA anime is good, the manga of the OVA is far superior. Very nice comedy/romance series. Nice character designs. Good soundtrack. The DVD has good audio/video and very good subs (with small mistakes here and there). Very recommended.

This DVD set is great. Every episode has the intro on it and one chapter break. The story is great very funny subs- like other people put it , the subs were from a fansub script, pertty good subs. audio- pertty descent audio, but i havent tryed it in my home surround system. video- maybe a ld rip, I'm not to sure, it looks pertty decent to me . this is a great set to buy, if u cant wait for the rest of the us releases then i suggest that u go an get this set.

this was an excellent buy. the subs weren't horrible, since they were probly from fansub rips. the audio was good as well as the vid quality. every once in awhile, the timing was off, but it doesn't deter you from enjoying this hilarious series.

It starts off a little bit odd, but Love Hina quickly grows on you. The subtitles are good and are is a fansub script. Video quality is true DVD although there is one episode in the first disc where the synchronization is slightly off. Opening and closing credits are included for all episodes.

The audio and video quality is really good but not as good as the anime cartoon version. one thing thats bad about this dvd is that they put DVD-5 Quality On DVD-9 Discs well it says DVD 9 on the back of the case But The Video Quality Is Great But The Introduction Credits Tend to be blocky than the episodes because the animation is more lively in the intro. The Subtitles Are Really Good but they sometimes have spelling errors like He Can, And He Cant, They Both have different meanings and it can make you get confused. There is another thing that is bad about the subtitles one episodes 22-25 on the 3rd disc the subtitles appear 1-3 seconds earlier than they are supposed to appear. The Audio Is Really Good But Your Going to have to disable your rear speakers if you have any to remove an echo in the audio. Overall this is a good DVD I recomend it!!!! :):)

I rarely give out 5's but this deserves 5's for all! Everything is great on this set and is a must buy. This is in my top 10 hk dvds and is a good funny series too =) GET IT NOW!
