Video:4/5 Audio:4/5 Subs: 4/5 The car races in this show, are in the middle of the night, so theres a lot of dark scenes, some times its very difficult to see whats happening. But that is the show, not the DVDs ^_^ Dont understand why they put 9 episodes in 1 DVD and 4 in the other? It should be 6 and 7... Anyway, the episodes in both discs look very good.

i think the video was an r2 dvd rip b/c the quality was excellent. to my astonishment, the subs were relatively good. the audio was good.....and fyi, initial d has some awesome music, even if the animation is a bit.....ugly.

subtitles were great in this series also, fansub scripts were used again im pretty sure. if you have the first stage of initial d you wont be dissapointed with this one.
