Video: 4/5 - there are a few spots that shimmer in this release, especially when you get computer animation in the same frame as the cel animation. Otherwise, the colour saturation is excellent without any bleeding or pixelization. Audio: 4/5 - Nice clean audio with just a bit too much reverb for my taste. The sound is nice and clean but sounds like someone ran it through "Great Hall" mode on their amplifier. I didn't notice this so much with the race scenes as I did the story scenes. Subtitles: 4/5 - Pretty good translation that is mostly right... I think the subs use a bit more swearing than the original dialogue contained. There are a few scenes where the timing is just a bit off though. No great problems with the timing, just a sentance here and there that get bunched with the previous dialogue. Content: I thought this series would be something that only car enthusiasts would like. I'm happy to say that I am wrong with my preconception. My wife and I could hardly tear ourselves away from the set to see the next episode. The computer animation is a bit dated but most of the characters have real depth to them and the sub plots keep the viewer in suspense. Overall, I highly recommend this series to people who want a real world drama with romance or people itching to see some great racing action. It fits both bills handily.
