Video:
The video on this set was extremely sharp, showing little or no pixellation and very little macroblocking. Even during the action scenes, precious little breakup is seen which again compounds the fact that the video aspect of this title is very impressive and certainly the best part of this title.
Audio:
Audio too is very good for the most part. Some scenes sound a little washed out but they are in the minority and tend to be very quite scenes when nothing much is going on. On the whole though, the audio aspect of this set is fairly accomplished with crisp sounds made possible by decent Dolby Digital sound support.

Plot Synopsis
=============
This Rurouni Kenshin OAV SeisouHen, shortly to be released stateside as Rurouni Kenshin: Memory, is just what the title says it is. It's a work which is very much like the Neon Genesis Evangelion feature, Death & Rebirth. Since the first part of the feature reflects upon the events of the television series, while the second part, expands the story further.
Many people that I know detest this latest (and final) Kenshin feature becuase they feel that it is too slow and seems structually disjointed. I myself like this newest Kenshin feature because it retains the much more serious stylings of the orignal Kenshin OAV: Trust & Betryal. The fight scenes are gritty and violent, but as with the original OAV, they carry with them a sense of grace and excitement, making them a wonder to watch, especially on a large T.V :) .
The plot, whilst slow and meandering in places, still managed to compel me to like the characters that were being portrayed as well as remembering their past escapades through the Flashbacks that Kenshin has. Special mention also has to go to the quality of art and animation encompassed by this work as i'm sure this has been said before but i've gotta say it again, the animation and art in this feature is absolutely superb and certainly puts it up there with the high budget stuff like Cowboy Bebop and Earth Maiden Arjuna.
All in all, this is a wonderful production but only buy it if you're a Kenshin fan since it's constant hindsight references and the slower pace won't make you a convert.
In conclusion then this is recommended stuff, but only if you like your Kenshin.
