the story was interesting. decent animation and well-developed characters. it's pretty much on par with the ova so if u like the ova, u'll like the movie. if u haven't seen either, they're worth checking out. i personally like the dubbed version better so i'd prefer to buy the u.s. release. the subtitles are ok, but the dubbing is much more fluent as far as content and wording goes. it also added more technical terms which is more fitting since the main character is a doctor.
