Alien from the Darkness *Hentai* (AC/MI) Video: Looked fine in my Apex DVD player and Pioneer DVD-ROM. Might be a DVD source? Audio: Sounded fine on my systems. Stereo. Lots of screams and goopy sounds. Content: Lots of naked zombie-like dead bodies around in the beginning, with all kinds of green gunk laying around. Sometimes I just wonder... WHY IS IT THAT CHARACTERS ALWAYS WANT TO TAKE OFF THEIR HELMETS IN A POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS SITUATION? I would be freaking out if all those dead bodies resulted from a virus, and you would think in the future they would make the helmets would be more comfortable. Oh well, anyway, you have an all female crew exploring this ghost ship, and eventually you have lesbians and tentacles. Now, there were plenty of bishoujos present, but there was HARDLY ANY GOOD SCENES with them in it. They eliminated all the cool characters (bishoujo) I was interested in. So mainly, you had the middle aged women with all the scenes. This title is around 50 minutes long. The ending really made me POed too, it was kinda a surprise ending but I kinda saw it coming. There was a mosaic present in this title. Something that had me scratching my head was that the credits were in English, and not Japanese... Subs: The subs were somewhat understandable Engrish. There were lots of typos, and Chinese. Here is my favorite line: A: "But she lost her mind." B: "What? No mind?" Hmm... Guess maybe they should go look for it? Actually, they were talking about her memory... Overall: I did not like this title. The story was OK, but eliminating almost all the bishoujos killed it for me. The scene with the ferret and the protagonist was kinda cool, that was about it for me. If you liked middle-aged women, there might be something in there for ya, but this is a rather short title hinged together by a loose sci-fi story (perhaps that is a good thing?)
