The video looks alright, but not the best (but it does look better than Inuyasha). It is a TV->VHS->DVD rip. There is only one intro and credits per disc. It appears that there is a minor bit of macroblocking, but I'd expect this of a TV rip. Don't watch it on your computer. It looks ugly there. Also, an MI logo appears in the upper right-hand corner of the screen every once in a while.

Seemed fine. Nothing really stood out as being wrong.

It's an MI rip. Good show. Better than the first part. There's a couple of good surprises. I highly recommend this to anyone who saw the first part of the series. 4/5

Video 4.5/5 This isn't a DVD rip since the R2's aren't out yet but boy does it LOOK good! If I hadn't known that it wasn't a DVD rip before I saw I would've thought it was. It's probably sourced from digisubs and I don't know how they did it but if future non-dvd sourced releases look this good then I don't really care if it's dvd sourced anymore. The menu looked nice as well with some neat animation playing in the background. Sound 4/5 Nothing special here although it did sound a bit quiet with my usual volume settings but nothing major. I didn't notice any crackling or muffling either. Subtitle 5/5 Although I watched it through with Chinese subs I did turn on English sub for 1 episode to check the quality and it's definately fan subs and I encountered no grammar or spelling mistakes. I didn't check all episodes in English but since Florachan recommended the AV version over the MI because of "good subs" then u can't really go wrong with it. Seems like AV is still using the old traditional boxes, they're by no means ugly but I still prefer gatefolds cos it takes up less room and looks a bit more stylish :P This is my second AV title (first was gatekeepers) and both are outstanding in terms of A/V quality. Good to see competition for MI which means consumers will have a viable alternative. 2nd stage ties up all the loose ends and will satisfy those who crave for a real Vandread ending. Maybe an OVA is possible in the future but doesn't look like there'll be another season of TV series.
