Comment:
I would first like to mention that I have already purchased one of the R1s to compare this with, and here we go.
Audio: The audio on my Surround Sound system is perfect. No hisses or pops, it seems to be exactly in par with the R1 (As it is an R1 Release). They give you the Japanese audio and the dub (I'd also like to mention I like the dub - must I remind some of you that certain studios can only afford newer voice actors, and that is why some dubs are called "horrible"). The Japanese audio is a little low, but it seems fine.
Video: The video seems nice and crisp, perhaps a tad bit aged, but then again, so is the anime. It's certainly not a new anime, neither was Fushigi Yuugi.
Subtitles: In par with the R1s. No spelling errors I saw, but then again, I only watched it for a few moments. As always, the subs running with the dub show some changes, nothing too major.
Packaging: Lovely. Absolutely lovely. I give FX cheers on this.
If you loved Fushigi Yuugi, this may be for you. Certainly not as funny, a tad more angsty, but still having the typical Watase Humor, along with love pyramids, this is a great anime for anyone looking for a love story.
